This Christmas, I opened the most amazing gift: an E-Heat Blanket! It feels like a warm hug with this cold weather.
Have you ever received a gift that made your holiday feel super special

In Christmas of 1981, my grandma gave me an AM/FM radio with headphones. She’s been gone for almost 15 years, but I still remember that gift and will probably hold on to that memory for life.
That gift opened a whole new world for me.
@Finian
Nan gave me a Discman in the mid-90s. That same year, my mom and dad got us mountain bikes. I was living in the outback then, and I could ride my bike wherever with my Discman, some snacks, a water bottle, and spare batteries. All day, every day that summer, what adventures I had.
Thanks for the memories!
My parents, who had very little extra money, paid off about $1500 of my student loans one year. I sat on the floor and cried like a baby. They’re both gone now (screw cancer) and it’s been about 20 years, but that’s still the best gift I ever got.
@Josie
Sorry for your loss. Yeah, screw cancer.
One year for Secret Santa at work, the assistant manager created a German Shepherd sculpture from wire and bits he had in his garage. He knew how much I loved my dog. Hands down one of the best and most thoughtful gifts I’ve received. Ten years later, I still display it at home. It means even more now since my assistant manager passed away the following year in an accident.
This year, my daughter went back through my Amazon search history and found something I’ve been eyeing for three years but never bought.

Such a sweet and considerate little stalker.

I’ve done this with my sister’s Instagram
My cat, Maddie. She was homeless and cried to come inside just days before Christmas last year. She’s my Christmas kitty.

Every day is a good day to rescue a kitten, but I can imagine the joy of receiving such a gift on such a special day!
@Fane
My sister got me a giant cat tree this year because I mentioned wanting to get them a new one.
They’re going to love it!

This is AMAZING.
I just got a bread maker from my husband and he knew it was something I would never buy for myself… spent all day making several loaves of bread while my kids were napping.

Oh, that’s exciting! I’ve always wanted one! Which one did you get?
@Bennet
He got the Kitchen Arm Smart Bread Maker, and it came with a recipe book, so I made honey bread, cinnamon bread, and onion bread… now I’m really excited to make beer bread

You just inspired me to use that beer I don’t like, thanks!
