Depends on what you mean by “personalized” - whether something with a name on it or just specific to a person’s interests. I went with the latter: My mom always gives me really cool tea towels! I love them, they’re useful, and there are a billion styles for every taste.
I love going to home goods and putting together baskets and charcuterie boards. Like buying a pot and putting everything in it for a pasta dish and the recipe. A snack/movie basket with a list of recommended movies and snacks.
I’m obsessed with paint by numbers
If you know them well, you could buy them an experience you know they’ll enjoy (Ex. a one-day pottery class, tickets to an event/fun place, etc)
Nice tools from Lee Valley Tools. Everyone needs tools. They make gorgeous tools of high quality. Nick Offerman has done videos for them. Unless you are in Reno, you will probably have to order from Canada but they are used to having American customers, so it can’t be too difficult to order.
They also make bird feeders and other garden equipment.
I did a tea basket for a friend last year that loves tea and honey I got a pack of 12 different teas, 4 of each, it came with 20 honey sticks, I bought a small basket to put it all in and a glass honey jar with glass spoon. She loves to have tea in the evenings and loves to try different teas.
Board games are always a good option for people who like to play games.
Food gift cards are good, too, like cold stone or Starbucks for coffee drinkers. Or a gift card to a favorite bakery.
Making your own spice blends is a hit every time I do it. Mulled wine/cider spices with instructions and wine/cider was also popular.
I’m making people various items out of clay. Trinket trays, tic tac toe boards and fridge magnets
I love using the Walgreens photo site to make customized gifts. Plus they email a lot of 50% off coupons often so that’s great
Check out antique stores or the gift shop at museums in your area.
Look into personalized mall they engrave, add photos etc for free …
Prices are reasonable and they always have deals
Funny tshirts that they’ll actually wear
How about use family pics
and make a calendar
I used to make “bad day” boxes. They had a snuggly throw or wrap, some hot chocolate mix & marshmallows, a hot water bottle and some candy. Or “pamper” boxes. Face masks, cleanser, bath oil, hair mask, moisturiser.
I also like to do baskets of my favorite items that I know the person would love. Skincare, makeup, etc. just my favorite awesome items
Absolutely. Check out my top gifts for 2024 blog. It’s specifically for teens and adults with anxiety, ASD, ADHD, etc, but there’s great stuff starting in the $20 range.

I am an artist and made a zodiac sign themed adult coloring book. It is always a hit for a thoughtful gift. A lot of people like coloring as stress relief, so I would recommend it if you are looking for something unique. I have it on amazon so you can get it delivered quickly!
