Perhaps a year of XM or Sirius radio would be nice. I’ve been on free Spotify for eight or ten years. I enjoy listening to good classic rock. Outlaw country brings back a lot of nostalgia too.

I missed out on Sirius. I bought my car just after they stopped lifetime subscriptions for about $300.
After a while, the channels were so messed up that I canceled it.

I listen to Ozzy’s Boneyard all the time on XM!
A sunburn for Christmas, please. I’m tired of the cold and snow. I need to move.
I’m formally requesting my health back.
A weekend away somewhere or a travel-related gift card. I don’t need material items, but I crave new experiences.
I want a surprise, damn it.
I know I can buy what I want, but it would be nice to have a surprise.
Maybe I’ll prepare a stocking for myself next week and forget what’s inside it.
Does anyone have a trick for selective amnesia?
Pilates sessions, leggings, and grip socks. I’d love to have my own reformer at home. We are planning to convert our guest room into a workout space.

I just got one for myself—check QVC, Woot has a basic unit that’s affordable but well made. It’s only missing the 10” high added platform, as far as I remember. Hurry before they sell out!
A lifetime of yoga classes.
Family traditions.
In my old man voice, what’s happened to kids today?
All of our children (10 total in this blended family) and 20 grandkids now have their own families. One even mentioned they didn’t want to waste vacations visiting relatives.
We used to have traditions of gathering together. Those days seem to be gone.
Today, my wife and I will host one son and his three kids. It’s a sad situation.
To be with my lady fair. She had to move due to family reasons, but I plan to relocate closer to her.
I never get tired of books, especially literary fiction and science/nature books. Even though my to-read pile is quite large, and my already-read pile takes up a storage unit, I’ll happily take more.

I switched to a Kindle because I don’t have to store books, and I can carry many books with me anywhere. My biggest fear is getting stuck somewhere without anything to read.
What I really want is a specific professional quality Nikon telephoto lens. I’ve wanted it for years, but I can’t afford it (yet), and neither can my family.
But that’s okay. I’ve wanted a rock tumbler for a long time too. If Santa doesn’t get me one this year, I’ll buy it for myself. Can’t wait.
@Drue
Rocks aren’t getting any younger!
I plan to use my soon-to-be rock tumbler to smooth out their wrinkles for a youthful appearance. Maybe I should stick my face in there as well.
Concert tickets. Our generation of musicians are either passing away or thankfully retiring. A nice bottle of liquor or some fancy chocolates would be great as well; decadent treats are okay on occasion!
I just received an 80s GE Undercounter Space Saver from my sister-in-law. They moved into an 80s house that still had a functioning one, but they didn’t want it, so now I have one for under mine!
A new guitar. But I don’t need Christmas to want that.
