@Darin
Another idea is to use it in a pot roast, assuming you enjoy meat. I once bought Yuengling Hershey’s Porter thinking it would be great, and it wasn’t.

Good idea. Maybe I can use it for tacos instead.

He got the Kitchen Arm Smart Bread Maker, and it came with a recipe book, so I made honey bread, cinnamon bread, and onion bread… now I’m really excited to make beer bread
Sounds ideal I may need to take the plunge and get one; fresh baked bread is heavenly!
@Bennet
I got one for $8 at a garage sale. It’s not fancy, but it makes a decent loaf of white bread and kneads my roll dough just fine. It’s a cheap way to try making your own bread regularly.

Very true, I love garage sales. I’ll keep an eye out! We just bought some land last year and are aiming for more self-sufficiency.
@Bennet
It’s something I wouldn’t splurge on myself, but I’ll spend on my family. After receiving this, I’d say go for it and enjoy, it’s a gift that keeps on giving.

Great advice! I’m the same way! Thanks
@Bennet
I suggest looking for one used on Facebook Marketplace or at Goodwill. There are so many available!

Good call, a low-stress way to start the learning process, thanks!

Plus, after Christmas, there will be a lot more donated or for sale.

kitchen arm smart bread maker
Is it one of those makers where you just throw all the ingredients in and it does the rest?
@Clove
Yes, you just add the liquid ingredients first, then the dry ones and yeast on top.

I just got a bread maker from my husband and he knew it was something I would never buy for myself… spent all day making several loaves of bread while my kids were napping.
Try using buttermilk powder; I really enjoy it. Rosemary has become my favorite flavor. Enjoy!

I really want a bread maker, too!

I told my uncle I really liked his shirt one Christmas. The next Christmas, he literally gave me the shirt. Best gift.

Was it the exact shirt or a new one that looked like it?
@Flint
It was literally the same shirt, dry cleaned and nicely folded.

It’s definitely too big for me, but I still love it and have received compliments on it.
